Project “Vocational Training and Motivation for Learning and Work to Achieve Employment Suitability”
National Employment Action Plan (NAPE 2014)
The project was developed by the State Enterprise Bulgarian-German Center for Vocational Training to fulfill the public tasks of the enterprise, Article 60a of the Employment Promotion Act. The main objective is to improve the employability of unemployed people from disadvantaged groups in the labor market by organizing quality, practically oriented vocational training for the purpose of professional realization in the real economy. The priority target group of the project is unemployed persons up to 29 years with an emphasis on the sub-group of young people up to 25 years in accordance with the efforts to limit high youth unemployment and inactivity as a main task of the National Employment Action Plan in 2014 and in implementation of the European Youth Guarantee. Within the framework of the project, trainings will be held in the five branches of the “BGCPO” SE of unemployed persons registered in the Labor Office Directorate in order to acquire:
first, second and third degrees of professional qualification;
qualification by profession.
Adult trainers and mentors will be trained and motivational trainings will be implemented. Pilot training, organized on the principle of “dual training”, is provided for some under-25s. Within the framework of the project, trainings in key competences “Initiative and Entrepreneurship” and “Public and Civic Competences”, acquisition of professional qualification in the following professions will be conducted in the Smolyan Branch – Smolyan Branch:
Installer of water supply and sewerage networks;
Training for the acquisition of vocational qualification in a number of professions:
The participants receive a scholarship, free of charge for them, at the dormitory of Smolyan Branch of BGCPO, which offers all the comforts of the guests. The project also pays travel expenses. The training is conducted by highly qualified teachers and ends with a state-recognized document: a certificate or certificate of professional qualification.
